Hi All,

In case anyone was wondering the new 2015 TDI's will be available for sale either by the end of this week or early next week. They are undergoing a software flash and anyone interested in getting into a Jetta, Passat or Golf Sportwagen can do a deposit on them to reserve on any models that haven't undergone the update yet. We are offering 2 options for them - either a $5000 discount plus 0% financing for 72 months on a purchase or a $8500 discount on a 24 month lease.

Feel free to PM me and I can let you know which trims/models are still available. Thanks!

They're being prepped for resale for May, from what I was told.
Off the lot with the FLASH, then back in a year for the hardware.

HOWEVER people, there are other issues to consider before BUYING,
since they have been SITTING for two years:

Dry Rot: Coolant Hoses, Serpentine Belt, Timing Belt, tires, and bushings.

Fluids: Oil, Coolant, Fuel, Trans, hydraulic clutch, and Brake - All need
completely cycled out and refreshed, before even attempting to start it
since 2-years ago; no exceptions. If they're not doing ALL of that, don't buy it.

No matter where you live, and what they have done to limit it (which is nothing, they sat
outside for two years), some moisture will have gotten into the crankcase. With the
appropriate oil, the amount of rust and corrosion will be minimal. They must change
the oil and filter before attempting to start them, and there is a start up procedure
to limit or stop internal damage because of it.

Rust, period, especially the under carriage, door bottoms, and fender lips.

All batteries will need to be replaced, no exceptions. They should also be
inspecting all the major ground spots.

Dry rot will be the major concern with the belts and bushings, with no kind of extended
warranty offered, that timing belt snaps, you're out.

LEASE, this is all covered for the term of the lease; basically, they can do nothing
to fully prep the car, and lease it. Then IF something goes wrong during the term of the
lease, it will be dealt with. So, you're somewhat safe with the lease. It then will be
someone else's problem when you return it, and they sell it off lease.

Buyers BEWARE, sitting for two years is NOT good, at all...

Oh, and nice way to crowbar in an advertisement... There is a FOR SALE section here...

Morning,

My apologies for not putting it in the F/S section.

All of our 15's have been driven bi-monthly since they've been stored. Every one is undergoing anything and everything that needs to be done to it in order for them to be inspected and ready to sell (as above). Yes they are 2 year old new cars but seeing as they are the last of the TDI's for the foreseeable future their is a high demand for them already so I wanted to give everyone an update. Not sure about other dealers but we are already are delivering them. We have 5 wagens being worked on this morning.

Yeah, I know that they're all being scooped up. I even told the dealer I
go to, that if any come available, even 2008s and lower, to call me
or let me know immediately. Well, the 2015s have been released, and I
haven't hard a PEEP from them. They're starting to piss me off now...

Makes you wonder who's buying them, new people, or the hypocrites
that cried foul, are taking money, yet buying another one.

The ONLY reason I sold mine back was, it was going to take $3000
to maintain it, to be on the road with no issues for another 2-3 years;
Timing belt, Axle Seals, and other suspension parts + labor. Since the
2009-2014s can't be fixed, they may be banned and I was told will be
made unregisterable. I was not going to take that chance to have it
another year for $3000. So, I sold it back. If it turns out that they will
be allowed on the roads, I will contact VW and tell them what the dealer
told me, jut to sell me another car. I don't really like this TSI, but the
payment is lower, and I am able to do my route on 3/4 tank of gas,
about $33 a day, though gas has gone up .20 cents in the last two
weeks. Diesel has sky-rocketed here to basically, $3.00 a gallon,
-vs- $2.65 for RUG.

I want another diesel, but I am not paying retail, minus any incentives for
a car that sat for two years. $5000 off is just not enough to get me in
a new one that SAT for two years. I paid $19,750 for my 2013 almost
right off lease, so it had low miles, I know it was not new. Plus I ran it
to 243,211 miles on the original serpentine AND timing belt. I figured, if
the serpentine belt has not broken yet, the TB should be good, BUT,
that was all going to be done in the $3000 refresh....

These 2015s going up for sale, are still going to be at their sticker
price, when, if what you said is TRUE, they were driven bi-weekly,
they should be certified then. You can't drive a car bi-weekly for
2-years the sell it as new, even if they only have 10 miles on them.

Issues with this 2015 TSI; radio knob cover was broke, tail light pieces
broken and missing, radio has to be factory reset EVERY week because
media no longer works... I had ZERO issues with my TDI, now got
gremlins with the 2015 TSI.

PLUS, pulse width management (PWM) to the lights? I can't find
the VCDS coding to turn that off, so can't add HIDs without turning
that off. The VCDS coding IS there, but no one will give it. I have
to use a 470uF cap across the relay coil to keep it latched.

I loved my 2013 TDI, and them telling me I won't be able to drive it
due to this emissions scandal, if they lied, they'll hear about it...

Yeah I totally understand!

What's a shame is the really nice black 13' wagens we're seeing turned in can never be resold - they are all going back to VW where (I'm assuming) they will be used as parts cars or who knows. I just took in a black with cream interior and the thing it's flawless. I'd jump all over it if I could.
