CC needed PCV and Intake Manifold replacement at 100k. Since then, burning (no leaking) oil at 1qt per 1k or more. Never added oil between changes previously. Did pcv failure cause seals to leak? Dealer sez minir leak at rear seal. If seals to blame, can I just add oil without further damage??

You said first, after PCV there was burning, no leaking, then ask if seals are leaking, and say the dealer said the main seal leaks.

The wrong PCV can cause oil consumption, as it's connected to the intake. Check your intake for excess oil residue, install a catch can.

A stuck closed PVC will cause internal engine pressure, but usually it's the valve cover gasket that blows and starts leaking. A rear main seal is pretty tough, it was probably just a coincidence it happened after you changed the PCV.
