Hey all, I'm new to the forum, I've had myself an 85 and 86 Jetta, and currently drive a 2003 Jetta GLI. I just bought a 1983 Rabbit and it needs the headers replaced because it is really loud. Does anyone has some suggestions on parts or process at this point in the game? Mechanics that might do good work on the Rabbits would be a plus. Also any suggestions about what to look out for with my new acquisition would be a plus, it has 130k miles, it's maroon, and also needs some body work, so any advice would be great.
Cheers!
Ebay for the pacesetter headers.
thanks brian - i did see those for about $150, not bad. has anyone actually installed those on this forum? good quality, etc? any other input about the car would be great, thanks.
I put them on my 90 cabby, i had to modify them a tad, but it was cheaper than a 4-2 manifold and down pipe.
I put a 4-2 manifold on my 92, with the tt 2 -1 down pipe and that was about a 400 dollar upgrade.
