    Post VW Fast Emblem

Just ordered my Fast Emblem thinking about putting it on the left side of the hatch level with the Rabbit 2.5

Has any one does this? Or does anyone have any thoughts on the Fast Emblem?

I see the fast symbol as a thing for the GTI. I don't know if it is also considered something with the Rabbit

I think it would work with the rabbit if you replaced the rabbit badge itself b/c it looks like a demonized rabbit....it's mainly a GTI thing but I think it's become a VW thing in general. but thats my opionion.. oh and $29.99!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!! good god!

Agree! $29.99 plus shipping and handling!!! It's rip off!
I think that rabbit emblem looks a lot faster than GTI emblem.

My reasoning for it is the fact that it looks like an evil rabbit, oh and I onl paid $20 for it direct from the VW sight. The way I see it, if the Rabbit GTI (20th Anniversary Edition I think) has the bunny and the GTI why can't I have the Fast, I mean the bunny is quick, especially in S mode (smoking civics s all day)

thats the link for the Rabbit GTI ( $169 now thats a rip off )

it is because a GTI is a Rabbit but a Rabbit is not a GTI. But hey, it is your car so do what you want.

Very Valid Point, my emblem should be in tomorrow, now I'm thinking about putting it on the VW on the Grill or on the hatch. But 169.99 for an emblem is just crazy, I almost didn't want to pay $20

The bottom line is-you dont have a GTI...don't put that emblem on your car....it's one thing to use parts from a GTI ie...sideskirts and crap like that, but when you start badging it as a GTI with the "fast" emblem you are getting into new "pissing people off" territory.

thanks for all the feed back, I just got it today in the mail, and the UPS guy was a total A-hole. either way I'm conflicted on the placement. as far as "pissing people off" or it being a GTI emblem, I see your point on that, but I'm def not trying to make it look like a GTI for that I would have just bought the GTI

dude that IS an effing rip off. i would never pay that much for something that can easily be reproduced for a fraction of the cost. NTM that site is a rip off

because it was the Rabbit first in US, who cares about what other ppl think, because it will always be a Rabbit GTI/GLS/GLX etc. I posted a comment about my 01 GTI coming up in the system as a Rabbit GTI GLS. so the GTI owners are driving hopped up Rabbits, for all i care. I just get to mod mine the way i want to, and with a bigger engine to start off with. O.o

I can dig it rabbid, that site is a tad expensive they have a lot of things for more than other sites. and 90% of ppl who don't know the difference between a GTI and Rabbit def won't know the symbol either. I put my emblem on the hatch right above the VW to open it up, it looks real nice as soon as i get a clear pic I'll post it.
