7/10 for me.
the style is alright, a little too open for me, but the upside is they're really light for 17"s.
thin, multi-spoked wheels are cool and all, but i'd like if they had a few more in there.
like an OZ superturismo.
17x8 with a 48mm offset..
i would get some spacers to make them sit a little more flush. like 5mm in the front and 8mm in the rear.
i'm no wheel guru, but i reckon that will create a pretty nice stance.
*edit- what color is your car? do you have a drop? if so, how low?

I am a big fan of wheels that have only one set of bolt holes. I really hate those multi fit ones! These are nice, but I could not justify a grand for a set.
i can put them on your car throw Photoshop if you would like
i need a pic of your car tho
but im not a huge fan but it what tickles you not me

I have a dumb question - how does wheel weight affect driving? I am thinking of replacing my steel stock wheels with new rims too. My narrowed down choices weight either 17.0 or 19.0 lbs. How will that make a difference?
the rotational mass of an object is a description of how easy or difficult it is to rotate a body or to stop it once it is rotating.
with the lighter wheels, once the engine transfers energy through the trans/driveshafts/etc, the power after drivetrain loss, will more easily rotate the wheels.
just the opposite occurs with heavier wheels.
less rotational mass will also allow the car to stop and turn-in more quickly.
now, in your example, you're comparing wheels that have only a 2.0lbs differece. i highly doubt a difference as small as this would yield any recognizable gains.
now, say you have 27lbs wheels (something like stock 17"s) and you go to a lightweight 17lb 17" wheel - you'll start to notice a difference.
i had a mkIII s/c GTI and i had some heavy 17"s on it (i would estimate 27-29lbs each) and i swapped them for a pair of 16" rota slipstreams (16lbs iirc) and the difference was very, very noticeable.
hopefully that helped a little bit.

Mine are stock 15" steel on a 2008 rabbit. I have no idea what they weigh.

the only Eibachs that will retain your manufacturers warranty are Driver's Gear Eibach sold by dealerships.
they are made by Eibach specifically for Volkswagen.
you can find them on EBay as well, or there is a guy on vwvortex.com that is a part's manager out of a dealer in VA that sells them.
pro-kits are not considered OEM and will void warranty.
Driver's Gear springs will lower the car ~1"

OK thanks, I already talked to my the parts manager at my local VW house and he told me it would not void the warranty (as long as they install them). I guess I need to do a little more research. Thanks for the input.
Just checked, the pro-kit only lowers 1 inch, front and rear.

Can anyone photoshop the wheels I posted on this thread to my car also on this thread? Thanks in advance.

Personally I like those rims. I'm into the simpler designs myself.
1. Its simple
2. Easy to clean
3. Anti Bling
4. LIGHT (to me thats huge)
