Will this wheel setup be okay?

I have an 07 Rabbit, and I want to get a set of 17" BBS wheels 17x7.5 with 235/45/17 tires and an offset of 42. I know the recommended tire size is 205 to 225/45 and an offset of 45 to 50, but will the setup I want cause major problems?

i have 255 35 on 18s so... i would guess that this would be fine.

my off set is a little less and the wheel is 8.5" wide so i can barly get it in the wheel wells so you should be fine
