    1978 diesel rabbit has now power from glowpug relay HELP!

    i replaced the glowplug relay and the ignition switch they both where broken and the car started up and ran for a few minites then it stopped and wont start again with the key on thet is no power thru the relay it will turn over but wont start and the stupid buzzer wont turn off with the key on any ideas?

    Check your fuses, then check the glow plug fuse on the firewall for 12V (both sides).
    Then remove the #4 glow plug hold with a pair of pliers and jumper it directly to the battery if it don't get hotter than a firecracker in 7 seconds ok maybe 15 it is bad, and all 4 need to be replaced.
    What do Divorces, Great Coffee and Cars all have in common?
    They all Start with good GROUNDS.
    Replace all of them that you can, 99 percent of flakiness will disappear.


    92, 93 Cabriolet.... 89, and 90 are Deceased.
