I was looking at both my radiators one new and one looks newer. Both Rabbits were using A/C but are smaller at 525mm. (24" ) The 570 mm used for A/C cars is only 45mm longer which means maybe 1-2 more coolant tubs and the price. ( German autoparts) Has anyone had problems with the smaller radiator? And not sure what a/c prep car means. Any advice...hate to toss for 45mm.

If you have or don't have a/c, then the larger radiator is the one to go with. parts4vws.com has them too, and I think cheaper than German. And don't forget the width of the core too, as I think the a/c is a wider core by a 1/4 inch.
Don't discount Napaonline, nor advanceauto be warned that both of them have the ear mounts and not the pin type that the cabbies use.
What do Divorces, Great Coffee and Cars all have in common?
They all Start with good GROUNDS.
Replace all of them that you can, 99 percent of flakiness will disappear.
92, 93 Cabriolet.... 89, and 90 are Deceased.
OK, Thanks
What I need is a 3 row all aluminum radiator like I got for my 1970 Datsun Roadster. Now that thing is kool.
