hey everyone new to the site but long time vw enthusiast and owner. i recently stole a 99.5 2.0 jetta from a friend and it hasnt ran in about a yr. the kid parked it due to not being able to keep it running. so i picked this thing up the other day and started looking into it. all the fuses inside the door look good and so do the ones on the top of the battery. hooked it up to a charger cuz the battery was dead to see if i had power at all and the dash lit up fine tried cranking it and the starter just clicked like it didnt have enought juice just yet... no issue there, but i hooked my truck up to the thing so i knew i had all the juice i need to see if the starter would engage or not. as soon as i turned the key over to try and start the thing it lost power completely and i havent been able to find the source of the blackout. chekced all the usual fuses so im hoping theres a trick or a hidden one somewhere im missing??? any help is greatly appreciated guys.
