2006 jetta tdi

I have a jetta 2006 tdi, my question is sense there is no definite question regarding needed transmission service on the car. owner manual states no service is needed on the transmission.

I am just courious about needing to do the transmission flush? since the owners manual does not state it needs to be done.

I believe vw amended what was stated in the manual for that generation. fluid changes are scheduled at 50k miles. the dealership service for the closed transmission is around $300.00...
