I couldn't not find it under the hood and the owner's manual makes no mention of either. I could only find oil dipstick, coolant, brake fluid reservoir and windshield wiper reservoir.
There is NO dip stick for the transmission, it is sealed.

oh thx....so i guess just follow the manufactures guidelines and have the fluid changed when its time? no need to check the level. Is there a power steeing fluid reservoir?
If I am not mistaken the sterring is electric so there is no fliuld... The car has many drive by wire componets.

The steering is electric.
If you have a 2009 CC the transmission is a regular 6 spd auto and you replace the fluid at the dealer every 50k miles. If you have a 2010 or newer cc, you have a DSG 6spd auto and you replace the fluid and filter every 40k miles at the dealer.
