just purchased our new new metallic grey JettaTDI Wagon. What a fun car. Love the sunroof. Like the different transmission options. Still on the learning curve with the settings in the dashboard to program.
Would like some feedback from others about what you love and not so much about your Volkswagens. Never owned one before.

Bruce - we just bought a new Jetta TDI sedan and love love it. Sadly, it's been at the dealership for 11+ day due to a whistle noise that occurs any time the sunroof is open. Apparently this is unique and they haven't found a fix after replacing the sunroof, replacing seals, etc. They've sound recorded the noise, and are in talks with engineers in MI and GE. They provided me with a gas Jetta in the meantime, and I must say....the turbo diesel rocks in comparison. I will be jumping for joy when they return it - sans whistle.Enjoy!
90wildcat - so sorry yours has been in the shop! Hope they get it back to you soon and 100% fixed. Bruce - I LOVE my 2012 Jetta sportwagen TDI. LOVE it! It's awesome! Great speed. We bought a manual transmission. Only complaint is first and 3rd are SOO close together, we sometimes try to take off in 3rd and stall. We are both experienced manual drivers and STILL stall the car due to this issue. But other than that, we adore the car. ENJOY!! We've found the onboard mileage calculator is very accurate. We calculate and then compare to what the dashboard says and it's usually dead on. We used to be Saab fans, and now we are definitely converted to VWs. Thrilled with the purchase. Best car purchase we've ever made. Hope you are enjoying yours!

I would watch for the AC, mine has to work pretty hard in a black on black JSW. Otherwise I just turn 50k on my 2010 and it drive great, just as fun as the first week.
