Not now but in the near future I intend on installing a new Sandan SD508 compressor, new dryer, expansion valve and barrier lines in my 1981 caddy along with the newly rebuilt 1.6L Diesel engine. The compressor has PAG 100 in it now and it looks like the system will built up with out any low or high pressure switches. I have the switchs that came off my 86 jetta but as of right now I can't seem to find a way to incorpurate them into the system. On the back of the compressor I am going to install a couple of 134A 90deg elbows with the freon connections built into them but for finding a connection that will except the pressure switchs I don't have a clue about if anything is even available. OR maybe I don't even need a pressure switch as the current AC system with the YORK compressor never had one. Green as grass about all this but learning I hope. I guess the question is, pressure switchs or not and if so do I need low or high or both and how.
