does anyone know what the noise from the rear of the car is when you cut it off does not happen every time you shut it off but its pretty loud sounds like some kind of pump.
I'm guessing it's the actuator for the parking brake - the brakes are set electrically so there's a motor back there that applies them. Do you have "Auto Hold" turned on? If so, when you park and shutdown the car the parking brake is automatically set, you don't have to use the button on the dash. After the sound you will see the back-lighting of the parking brake switch change to yellow.

Could it be the windows dropping down to vent so you can close the door? Mine does that when you turn it off and it sounds like a thump.
Do you have the rear view camera? I heard mine do it today and it was the camera retracting and emblem closing. There is a delay when switching from reverse before the emblem closes.
