2008 4dr w/ sunroof auto

Problem: I've noticed in the last year or so, when i pressed the switch for the drivers side overhead light (near to the red map lights) that both lights would come on. Didn't think much of it, because it didn't do it again for quite some time. Now it happens whether I'm putting my sunglasses away in the storage bin, turn either overhead light on, or even just push lightly on the assembly. Happens with the lights turned on or off, doesn't matter.

So, how can I rip that all apart to get at the insides and fix this problem? I'm figuring it's probably a circuit board touching the other, or a short to power between wires after the switch.
