Mk 6 Parking Sensors

When reversing, I prefer to watch where I am going rather than look at the visual display , so if I am watching one side of the car then I rely heavily upon the audible warnings for the 'blind spots' on the other side.

However I find the sound level on them rather poor and, if there is a lot of traffic noise around the car, then I can't hear them at all The dealer merely says that "that's how they are" and suggests that the problem may be due to the location of the sounder (wherever it is buried somewhere behind the dash).

Does anyone know please of a way to increase the volume or suggest some other improvement?

Do you have a f actory installed park sensors or did you have your dealer or port install it?

They are a standard fit item on the Mk 6 Match.

Hmm, so i'm assuming you are not from North America then. Our mkvi's don't come with that feature unless the dealer installs it. Sorry, not sure where your speaker box is.
