changing Jetta base steel wheelset

I have the current base model year Jetta and I'm planning to change the wheelset. I'd rather not increase wheel size, I'd like to stick with the 15" or if I do have to increase, only up to 16". Will the older 15" OEM Jetta wheels that were commonly placed on the 2003-2005 model years be a fine fit for the car or will I need to look out for some things when doing this?

Mk5 wheels will fit (2006+) but Mk4 and older will not. It will be easier to find 16" wheels than 15".
