Mileage is kind of high which makes me leery. It was bought and serviced there.
Thoughts?

Doesn't seem like a bad deal. Personally I favor the manual transmissions. I'd definitely go in an negotiate the price, no sense in paying what they want for a used vehicle.
I also have spent ten minutes reading your sig haha.....that HAS to be out of context, no?

Used cars are the easiest to negotiate prices on. Nit pick everything you find on the car. Look for the typical shopping cart dings, tire wear, anything you can find. I was looking at a GTI and talked them down 2k from asking price just because there were hairline fractures in the taillights, 1 dent in the passenger door (shopping cart), missing windshield washer fluid cap. I ended up not buying the car because my car was not totaled out like I suspected it might be.
It's hard to negotiate their prices on new cars because VW has their prices set so close to production costs.
My signature is from another member on here that tends to be my source of amusement. It is an exact quote from a post of his.
As others have said its an "okay" deal. Dealers typically will make $2-3K on a used car. If you want a good deal, find a private seller and work a "deal" for both of you. I just saw a 2011 SE (white/tan leather) with low miles listed on the vwowners classifieds for $22.5K. That's 2 years newer and half the miles of what you have listed above.
