Hey everyone, I'm new to the VW world...bought a GTI from a buddy who was overseas. My driver side low beam just blew out. I got the bulb out of the hedlight housing but I can't get it out of the ighter (I think that's what it's called). Any recommends or am I making a trip to the local dealer? Thanks for any help that you can offer this newbie!
it goes on tilted then you turn it. Play with it youll figure it out.

I've tried to pull it out...even broke the end of the blown bulb off. I'm afraid I'm going to break the entire bulb off and then not be able to take it out. Can you elaborate on your answer? Thanks for helping.
Turn it counter clockwise.it's just a simple turn to the side90 degrees
