cleaning bosch injectors

is it crazy to take my bosch injectors apart and 'surgically' clean them to save from having to replace them? if not, what do you use to clean them?

if i do replace them, will i regret using cheaper brand injectors? namely GP Sorensen or BWD?

There was a right up about cleaning injectors. use a carb cleaner....or and the little red straw. Put in the injector hose end and spray. 3 of mine were to plugged up. those could not be taken apart. fuel injector place coudnt make any promising they would be better when done. got new ones. Myself I think everything up to the injector. The delivery of fuel to that point is just as important if not more than the brand of the injector. its a nozzle with a spring and plunger.... basically? IMHO
