    Front end clunk

When releasing the clutch from a dead stop, there is a clunk noise coming from somewhere in the front. I can't pinpoint it exactly. It only appears from a dead stop though, no other times. Any ideas? Anyone has this problem? I don't really know where to start

    Re: Front end clunk

I would start with the motor mounts. Mine I could rock the whole engine. Next I would jack up the front end and see if any play in front end parts. wheels loose, tie rods, shocks loose.

passenger side motor mount is probably deceased.
Also if the car is sticky to shift the rear mount is ca-ca too.
