    I have a 1983 vw rabbit gti fuel injected. I can not get it to start. I have put a fuel pump, new plugs and wires . I got it to run but i shut it off then now it wont even fire I also put a new coil on it to . the motor is flooding its self because I have fuel dripping out of my exhaust need help cant figure out what is going on thanks
    What do Divorces, Great Coffee and Cars all have in common?
    They all Start with good GROUNDS.
    Replace all of them that you can, 99 percent of flakiness will disappear.


    92, 93 Cabriolet.... 89, and 90 are Deceased.

    Well first off, set the timing, and it wouldn't hurt to put a new rotor on.
    second, replace your ground wires, that is battery to frame and frame to Tranny/Engine.

    The motor is flooding possible due to a leaking injector. But set the base time first.

    i also took the fuse out for the fuel pump and it started on the fuel left in the motor
