    Do I need spacers when I install coilovers?

    my friend told me that I NEED spacers when I install my coilovers because my tires will rub on them...I am only running oem magny cours. I read REDRABBIT's diy and I didn't see him use spacers...and i'm running raceland ultimos soon. soooo what's the deal? is he right? do I need spacers?

    No, you don't need spacers. Spacers would push the wheels out more, giving you a more flush look, if anything getting spacers would make you rub the outside of the tire on the fender. If you get wide wheels with the wrong offset you might need spacers.

    However, even with something like 18.8.5et45 you don't need or want spacers.

    exactly. i run magny cours wheels in the winter, you'll be fine.
