I have a 2003 jetta and I am having several problems. My dashboard icon for my cattlietic converter keeps coming on and making the car shift violetly until I out the car in neutral turn it off, wait a while,.and turn it back on all in neural I have taken it to several local mechanics that ask say its my computer and not my converte. I also have a leak in my driver side floorboard I can't seem to locate. My acceleration has decreased and do has my mpg. I am taking to a dealer in the next week but I am a college student with limited money and the nearest dealership is 2moro hours away. I am just wondering if anyone knows what I could do or how much money I should expect to spend.
