Tiptronic During Engine Break-In?

Should I be using Tiptronic during the engine break-in period? I assume that the Sport Drive should be avoided during that first 1,000 miles, but using Tiptronic when going down steep hills makes a lot of sense. Also, when would you use Tiptronic for exceleration purposes?

You can shift yourself, just dont go 3/4 the speedo or full throttle. Avoid long periods at the same rpms as well.
