I wanna get new rims for my jetta, but I heard different sizes can mess with my RPM??? can someone please explain this to me??? thank youuuuuuuuuu!
Welcome to the forum. The combination of Wheels and Tires, if incorrect can make your speedometer reflect the wrong speed. You want to keep the overall size of the new wheels/tires the same as the stock ones.
There are other factors as well that you need to consider. (offset, wheel width) If you are lowering your jetta you need to make sure to get the correct wheels/tires as to not damage other parts of your car.

^ this. it wont mess up your RPM. it'll just throw your spedometer out 5 or 10 km/h depending on how much bigger/smaller you go
