Looking at a few VW Jettas. 04-06 both with over 100k miles. ...any advice? ?
always check when the last time the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat were changed out...they are changed about every 60k..if its close to time to being changed you're looking at a pretty penny to get all that done...check the doors for functionality...like..when i unlock my doors..if i open the front passenger side door and no other ones after a minute my car re-locks because it doesnt think i opened any door..this is caused by the electronics in the latch having some issues ...the door still locks and unlocks correctly just doesn't know the door is open sometimes.
have some one see if its throwing any codes as well...just cause there isnt a light on the dash doesn't meand its not throwing a code..
if you get in a jetta from the 99-05 range and the inside smells like crayons...thats normal they all do..
