MK4. TDI clutch problem.
A few days ago i went to start my TDI mk4 golf only to find the clutch peddle was flat to the floor, after pulling the peddle up a couple of times it opperated normally until today when the peddle stayed down again. I pulled the peddle up and it got me home fine. There is nothing in the car to hold the peddle down, the header tank is full and when working normally the peddle preasure is fine. Can anyone tell me the possible cause?. Best Regards, Viv..
Re: MK4. TDI clutch problem.
Something is either leaking externally or internally. Look for leaks. if you don't see any leaks on the lines going from the pedal to the slave in the trans then I'd almost bet you have a faulty slave cylinder.
