Mk3 Golf, front bumper

Just curious to whether or not the R32 front bumper fits onto a mk3, as i have heard that it does, but then heard the some parts dont fit on it; such as as the fogs or something like that?
Any help will be much appreciated

the mk3 is narrower than the mk4, it will not fit with out MAJOR modification.

Now they made a mk3 1/2 cabrio, which is a mk3 with a mk4 nose. It may look the same as a mk4 but its the width of a mk3. There were no TRUE mk4 cabrios.

If you pay close attn to the body lines, they are the same as the mk3 golfs/jettas.



and as you can tell, they use the mk3 tail lights.

what the r32 bumper? Actually cut and section (shorten) the bumper out. And you can get the mk3 1/2 fenders and hood, they are all the same for the mk4s. Unless you are a true body man, its not going to be worth it in the price. You are talking probably 2-3 grand in labor/parts/paint. Your best bet would be to go to a junkyard, and get a complete nose off of the mk3 1/2 cabrios for a couple hundred bones. Those cars are a dime a dozen.
