Search is your friend. Mostly what you need to worry about is if your tires will rub. The right size tire and wheel offset fixes that. Also if your roads are garbage you should take that into consideration.

Good point I would really have to be carefull on the streets ... Most roads are good... I'm kind of worried that the tire might hit the shock tower

    Re: mk6 golf lowering springs

You should have no issues at all on springs. Keep in mind that 2" springs will cause rapid wear to your stock struts/shocks, they'll go bad within a year. You could look into 1.5" springs or an aftermarket cup kit if you don't want to go very low, or a set of coilovers if you do. Coilovers are the only time you'd have to worry about clearance, and even then only when you go quite low.

No need to buy suspension on eBay.

Wheels/Tires have as much affect on ride quality as suspension. Just ask GoFetch about the pillows he has on his car.

Greg, Racelands are actually a few bucks cheaper off of eBay.

    Re: mk6 golf lowering springs

I noticed. I usually equate eBay to no name. I like to give business to the good companies that support the community.

Maybe I'm biased with all of the eBay headlight postings I see, lol.

Lol very true. eBay is just one of their methods of distribution. Most other stuff on there is garbage.
