i may have already posted a question??? but my car wont start in the morning it was fine.. after lunch going on a short trip the oil can symbol came on in the center matrix saying STOP i did then the engine cut out oil level is normal no other probs now will not start???? any info would be great

Hi,
your problem might be caused by sludge in the sump. When you changed the oil, did you check the volume of waste oil removed? Say for example that a full engine oil volume is 5 Litres, and the volume drained off was 4 Litres, it would suggest that there is 1 Litre of sludge remaining in the engine. This can cause blockage of the oill inlet to the oil pump and the resulting drop in oil pressure turns on the oil warning light. To stop this dangerous situation, use oil flush before your oil change to aid the removal of the sludge and prevent the oil galeries from clogging up.

could it at all be your battery? some strange things happen when they start to flake on you. you may want to test it first...

well im pretty sure, if you have no oil pressure it wont start, and if it does, it runs like crap. And how long do you go before changing oil? 5-10k miles, or more, or less? (Be honest). And Im guessing you have 120,000 miles on it?
