mk4 bora sidelights not working.

hello to everyone. looking for help on my bora 1.9 tdi sport. w reg ( 2000 ). the side lights will not work . all lights work the fan works and so does the wipers. have checked the fuses and changed the bulbs to 12v 4 led bulbs. but still dont work. any help would be gratefull on where to look next.

LED bulbs will only work when installed in the proper direction. If installed backward they will not light.

I want to be clear as to what lights are not working. Can you show a picture of which lights are not working? When you say side lights i'm thinking the two marker lights in the left and right sides of the front bumper. Clarify which lights are inop. and we'll go from there.

cant take picture tonight. the lights under the main beam are not working. the lights that take 501 fitment bulbs.

yes that is my headlight. the bottom one on the right is not working.

That headlight only has two bulbs.....and those with fogs will have a third on the left. The low/high beam is one bulb, the amber turn signal/parking light, and the optional fog light would be in that circular opening directly under the amber turn s signal.

it is the low beam that is not working. it has a ( 501)capsule bulb. tried again last night. and forgot to switch the lights off when locking the car. the car thinks the lights are still on. so i am thinking it is either the bulbs or wiring to the bulb holders..
