I was wondering what is the easiest way to replace the ignition in my rabbit and where to get a new ignition and keys. I just got the car and now i cant drive it. I looked around on ebay and found nothing. Should I try to find a rabbit at a junk yard and grab one from there or is there a site where I can get a new one?

give the vin number to a vw dealer they should be able to get you one that way
Take off one of the doorknobs, I think there's just one screw in the doorjam and it comes right off, take that to a locksmith, it'll be like $10 to get a key made to match it.

There are 2 screws that hold the door latch on, one in the door edge, and one under the strip on the door at the front of the latch.
The better lock to use is the rear hatch or glove box, as the door handles can be changed....
