I just bought a used 2011 Jetta. The radio says bt - bluetooth. Would the radio say bt if it did/does not have bluetooth? How do I tell if it realy has bluetooth? I have tried to pair my iPhone 4 but it does not work. Please help.

When I replaced the head unit in my jetta it has Bluetooth in the mode options but when I looked into it, I found out you have to buy an adapter to play it through your radio. I found one at Walmart.

Look under the passenger seat. is there a big module in a black foam box? If yes, you have bluetooth.
