I'm buying a 2012 tdi jetta sportwagon but my wife has reservations about the sunroof. Has anybody heard of issues with the sunroof like leaking rain or the motor giving out while the roof is open? Thanks for any info about the reliability of the sunroof.
Nothing that is a KNOWN problem. I've seen a few failures but most times strange operation can be fixed with basic settings. Turn key on and pull down on the back of the knob. Hold it for about 8 seconds or so and it will start moving. DO NOT RELEASE the button until the sunroof does a complete open and close. When it stops, release.
