Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forum, this is my VW Bora TDI 150, Although unfortunately I am having some trouble with the engine, sounds like it may need a rebuild, have been told its a worn camshaft, although I've had second opinions which suggest this isn't the case, not sure if anyone else has come across any sorta thumping noise in the engine at all? Sounds fairly critical, but would be good to hear some opinions if anyone has them,

would be a shame to get rid of the car
