sec air and ecap monitor wont reset

Hi. I got a 2007 rabbit with appx 37k miles. I recently installed a Bsh cai. As you may or may not know you have to unhook the battery to re run the maf sensor. All went we'll no fault codes or anything. I go to get inspection and my readiness was not set. I checked with a scan tool no codes but my secondary air and my evap monitors won't set. I tried every trick and even vag com but nothing is working. Any one gave any idea? Any help will be appreciated. Inspection is due

When did u unhook your battery in comparison to going to get inspected?

Drive the car, switch up between some highway and city. Whenever you clear fault codes or disconnect your battery rediness is reset and needs to be set again. The only way to do this is either by scan tool set series, vagcom, or by driving a decent amount. Most shops would say 100+ miles.


If there is an issue, youre under warranty, but drive for a while then report back.

Ive driven for about a week(appx 500 miles)to try to reset the monitors. I've tried vag com and I even had a shop try to do it yet still no luck.

Put the oem airbox on, go to the dealer.
