front axle removal

i have a 99 beatle i am repairing . I have removed the strut tower and replaced the inner and outer tie rods on the right side. All that is left before i start putting it all together is repair the inner cvc boot on the front axle. To do that i need to pull out axle. Anybody know how to do this, I don't want to damage any thing doing something wrong.

Yes you need to remove the axle to replace the boot. But for the price of a boot, you might as well replace the whole axle....its going to be like 30 or so dollars more.
