Question 2008 Passat power seats are under warranty right?

Hi all! I unfortunately had to trade in my GTI The good news is, I now have a 2008 Passat with the 2.0T!!! Great car!! I notice something though, and I'm not sure what it might be. I set the power seat to memory position 1, then coded seat position 1 to the only key (I have 2) that I use. It seems that whenever I get in the car, the seat back somehow moved just a little bit. I have to hold the seat memory 1 button, then the seat back tilts forward like 1/2-1 inch. It seems to me that either something is wrong mechanically with the seat or somehow the seat position is getting reset a little bit. Anybody have any ideas on this or experience the same thing? If something is wrong with the seat, seat repair would be covered under bumper to bumper warranty, right? Thanks!!

The memory function will not allow the seat to recline past a certain point for safety reasons. You may simply be asking it to recline too much.
