Beware of TMTUNING

I emailed tmtuning about my antenna order that i placed on 2/26 on monday:

I still dont have the order yet. Should i be concerned, it's been 4 weeks already.

Your order will unfortunately not arrive within the estimated time frame that you were originally given. I am very sorry about the inconvenience.
Your order was delayed because of some quality issues with the gun metal antennas, our remaining stock had blemishes that were not acceptable.
But the shipment was upgraded free of charge to a faster shipping method to make up for the waiting time.

You can expect to receive your package end of this week / beginning of the coming.

Again, I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.

I suspect that my order was never processed, if they had issues with their remaining stock of antennas why was i not notified by email? Who cares about the free upgrade to faster shipping it will be about 5 weeks now for just an antenna.

I am very sorry that things did not work out as they should have with this order.
You were not the only customer having to deal with this, and as you can probably imagine it is not in our interest to receive such feedback from our customers.
As a result we are no longer selling this antenna, it has been removed from our selection. But in the case of your order it was unfortunately not possible to deliver any faster, because we had to wait for delivery of antennas that would have the necessary quality.

Again, I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us.

Hey, i had some issues with TMTuning when ordering too.

The two items i ordered took about 6 weeks!! to get here. And this was after I paid for air shipping.

Additionally, I was charged around $20 upon arrival for some customs fees. I complained and they pointed out some *very* small print in the purchase agreement that mentioned there might be customs charges, but you'd think that if they are shipping here all the time they'd at least give you a warning.

Probably wouldn't order from them again if someone else had the item.

They actually seemed quite nice. Ive emailed them twice regarding items and they responded within 24 hours. Real email too, not a generic response. Not bad considering the huge time difference. I asked about shipping too, how long would it take to ship from there to here. You should contact a company and ask questions before jumping to conclusions and expecting and order with a week or so. Such as "is this in stock", etc. Ya, im sure places will have a hiccup here and there and you might be at the end of one of those hiccups. But the world will keep spinning. I wouldnt hesitate ordering items from them at all.

My biggest gripe is they at least should have emailed me when they found out about the condition of the antenna and informed me about the delay, not notify me when i email them about the status of the order 4 weeks later! And I am still waiting for the order 6 weeks later!

Ya Wolf, you have a good point there I guess. I'll still order from there. How I see it, that could potentially happen with any company you order from. You never know until u place an order.

Thats terrbile, but it seems like they were professional. They didn't want you to receive a not working product. My rabbit came with Sat radio so I have the shark fin antenna! Hurray!

I feel the same way, the situation is a little crappy but it happens. I will still order from there, and hope for the best.

tmtuning is top-notch but they run into some issues with shipping every once in a while...
