Dont know if im posting in correct forum/place.

Recently rebuild carb, 34/pict3, fresh oil, new timing belt, and valve cover gaskets.

Now, before all of the above it was still doing the same thing. When pressing on the gas too quickly and even moderately slowly the car bogs/chokes and sometimes it dies. I have to start off slow to even get it to move in first, wont accelerate past second. What could be causing this? Any ideas very helpful! thanks.

You've probably got it solved by now, but maybe somone else with the same problem might get some help from this. Your accelerator pump shot maybe to weak. On the lower right side of the carburetor is a small 8mm bolt, loosen it and lengthen the throw of the accelerator pump arm. There's only 1 bolt of that size, loosen it, pull it down, tighten it, start the engine and see if that improved or cured your problem. I'm not real good describing this kind of stuff, just go easy and try a couple of settings.
