Just wondering what products and how you actually clean them?
i use my water hose nozzle with the 'flat' spray setting. then, if i feel like it, i coat them with armor all and wipe them dry.

Thanks sounds like it might be a good way to get all the dirt and grime off. Will definitely try this tomorrow.
i found if i just hosed them out they ended up muddy and spotted. i hosed them, then used my wheel brush with the regular soapy bucket to scrub them a little too.

the only things that really accumulates on my mats is sand and pieces of leaves. i guess if you have real dirt you would make mud spots...

i live by the beach, most of what i get in my car is sand and small rocks. i shake out most of it, what is left stuck to it is basically dirt i guess.

Chemical guys All purpose cleaner (any brand imo) cut to 5:1, let soak, agitate with a brush.
Rinse, repeat if necessary. Most mats only take me 10 minutes for all 4.

You guys in the south have it nice. Here we get clay, mud, sand, rocks, dirt, slime, and nasty all over these things. Better the mat than the carpet.

^ I like the Armor All idea Leon. It doesn't make the mats slippery does it?
Another question about cleaning the Monster Mats... has anyone else noticed their Rabbit logo discolor? Mine used to be greyish and now it appears to be yellowing, despite the mats never being really dirty. Wondering if this is just a rubber issue or what. I can't seem to clean it off.

I considered that but bleach tends to turn things yellow too.

I just bought my '08 2dr rabbit back at the end of May, and it came with the monster mats...the bunnies are a little cream colored, not white like I wish they were. I don't want to pay to get new mats, but I am thinking of trying whitening toothpaste or baking soda with a small toothbrush to see if I can get those babies to turn white. Toothpaste can clean so many things like jewelry and cds...why not try it on the mats?
The Rabbit logos on mine were greyish when new.
