Sportwagen door issue

Just got my 2011 Sportwagen, and had to RETURN IT! When I looked at the car in the direct sunlight, the rear passenger door was metallic paint, and the rest of the car is lacquer. Can you figure that one out?? The dealer played dumb as they always do, but VW Finance told me to ask for another car. Which I just received.
Anyone else have this kind of story?

Ehh things like this slip by more than you would think, during transport that back door got dinged or scratched. They painted it, but some idiot read the wrong code and painted it the obvious wrong color. Sucks for the person buying it, but id bitch and moan about it, there shouldnt be any issues when you buy a new car.

They said the door was wrong at the factory.... it was not repainted but it was put on the car at some point. Dont know if I believe that one.

They cant know that for sure...When a car gets painted at the dock cuz of damage its sometimes iffy if anyone will note it.

When the dealer found my car, it showed up with an obvious blemish in the paint on the rear bumper. The dealer had the whole bumber removed and re-painted and did a top notch job. No issues here.
