    My Future Setup

    Performance:
    Carbonio CAI
    C2 chip (87 octance) - daily driver
Center resonator delete - aftermarket catbacks are just too expsensive for me and im looking for something a little quiter.

    Lighting:
looking for some really clear H7 bulbs and gonna go with the fog light kit from ECS tuning with a euro switch.

Ill be ordering these parts sometime this week.. what do you guys think of this setup? I have a low budget and dont wanna spend moer than 1500 on mods

Tune+CAI is always a good start. Youll love it. Id look at USP's test pipe instead of the resonator delete.

    Re: My Future Setup

I admire the thought Spartan however a 2.5" testpipe into a 2.25" stock exhaust would be a little silly.

CAI and tune is a good pair however I would go a tad more aggressive than a resonator delete. Resonators are really just there to mellow out raspyness. Mid muffler deletes are really pretty mild but still actually make a difference.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8GRCxdrFvk - I actually know this car and found it silly that it was the first on google. I advised against her doing this but it is a kid carrier so an aftermarket really would have been too aggressive.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6CVNP15ISk - This guy has gone an replaced his resonator with a glasspack but its essentially the same noise.

    Re: My Future Setup

how about getting a catback with a silencer on it? a friend told me you can get systems like that where you can control the loudness. I really dont want to have an overbearingly loud car all the time especially since im mostly just a daily driver

^^ avoid those removable silencer setups too...

if you aren't looking for anything radical, just remove the muffler at the rear axle and call it a day...

    hey!! that's me!!
if it was to do it again, i would simply remove the mid-muffler.. not much a difference with the glasspack..
and it is just for the time that I pick up some $$ for the AWE cat-back! roar!!
