yeah.... And I wouldn't exactly mind seeing it this year. So I'll go along with moving.

I'm calling Castle in the Sand because they seem to be the best bet for us. They have cottages, Townhouses, and different style rooms. So I'll call and get costs and get back to people. Figuring out what dates everyone wants is priority right now.

i think i'm booking mine wednesday to monday for now, might add monday and tuesday later. work decided this year that if you had a vacation planned later in the year and you run out of vacation time that they cancel the vacation days instead of just not paying you for the time off like they used to. so i need to be careful.

I'm calling to ask about cottages, condos, rooms, And penthouses. I'll let everyone know the costs and we can go from there. I also found a few nice propereties around 45th st or something.

Check out the outpost, they have tons of parking. I think there's two and three bedroom units.

I hadn't heard of the Astoria. Looks nice.

So here's the options I've found that I think look best for us.

That would perhaps be ideal for either 2 couples and 2 singles. Mike2, this might be good for you... you and your girl could get one of the rooms. And Eric mentioned interest in maybe joining with us this year. He and his girl could get the other private room. Then there's 2 double beds in one room.

Here's the other...

Castle in the Sand. http://www.castleinthesand.com/oc-md-cottages.php Look about 1/2 way down where it says "Castle Lodge." The best unit available is L3. I spoke to reservations and they told me there were 5 double beds but they were all in the same room... Just ONE big bedroom with curtains around each bed. Probably most suitable for singles. There is also a pull out couch.

Pricing!

Astoria for a couple: $230 per single bed room, and $200 per bed in the two bed room.

Castle in the Sand: $150 per bed.

I'm thinking we could probably do both. But yens let me know. If you want to discuss it with each other and let me know. But this year I WILL need at least 50% up front for deposit.

If there is interest on that unit from enough of you, I think we will be ok. I'll be 28, and I'll just tell them everyone is of age. I am sure it will be fine.
