I haven't been on top of this because every time I talk to people they seem to change their minds. Fetch txted me last week after the D&B meet and told me that everyone wanted to do cottages. If that's the case, them yens need to get in contact with each other and decide on rooms.

You can use this thread as basically a place to make arrangements and who's going. I spoke to Castle in the Sand and they gave me prices, although I can't quite remember them now. But I do remember that it's actually cheaper to do a 1 bedroom cottage than a hotel room for a week.

As far as the Astoria goes... we'd need 2 couples and two single's. I'm willing to organize and book the Astoria if I'm in one of the single beds. But this one is kinda in the hands of the couples that are going.... I know some of you have g/f's who don't know many people in the group and understandably they would only be comfortable with people they actually have met. So let me know.

If you're new and haven't been to h20 before, or last year was your first year and you stayed in the house and now this year it might be a little awkward finding someone to room with.... post here and see if anyone wants to room with you I guess.

But we need to get this thing rolling with reservations... I'm really surprised the Astoria is still available that weekend.

So you don't have to dig back to find pricing:

Astoria for a couple: $230 per single bed room, and $200 per bed in the two bed room.

I'll call tomorrow to find out how much deposit they need and let yens know how much I'll need down from each.

Since the Astoria seems to be booking now, I think I'll try to get in at CIS. I think I saw that cottages are 50% off after labor day.

Fetch, find someone to share a room... maybe DJ, tony, Greek, etc. Then just call to reserve a room. I'd like to reserve things for everyone, but I'm not even staying on the property. When I talked to the woman in reservations she told me they'd make an exception and let me reserve multiple rooms and cottages under just my name as long as I let them know which room/cottage I'd be staying in. If I'm not even on the property I'm sure they'll just laugh at me.
