I removed my instrument cluster(1981 VW pickup) I reinstalled it and everything worked fine, today I started it up and the hi-beam, turn and gloplug lights don't work
Strong chance one of the wiring plugs on the back is not seated properly or has a poor connection. Best to pop the cluster out and clean the harness connections and reinstall.

I would think that anytime any electrical connection is disconnected on these 30 year old vehicles, it would be good practice to spray them down with CRC and maybe apply Dielectric Grease before reconnecting.
Proly a good idea to do this to malfunctioning electrical parts before replacing them.
Indeed. I even like to hit them with a little steel wool or fine emery cloth when applicable.
I will do that, thanks.
