Youd be surprised, a BT in a FWD car is actually more streetable than the oem k03 with stage 2 or even 1. The oem turbo is very peaky, BT allows for civilized town driving and amazing highway fun. 400whp will spin tires on low boost, but so will the k03.

There are many front wheel drive cars with 400+hp that are actually still very practical daily drivers. Thankfully I found a german car tuning shop in my area that has a ton of experience with (and is basically exclusive to) VW's and Audi's. They have a winning US Rallycross car and have done countless daily driver mods to all things VW. Plus, when you think about it, 400hp is not a lot to ask of the GTi's motor, considering all the parts needed to get there are bolt on.

    Re: break in and modding?

GREAT COLOR!!! I picked up my shadow blue this past Friday. I also had questions on the breakin in period and every thread tells me to do what's in the manual... Well I have the manual right in front of me and I can't find breakin information anywhere. I don't know if I'm retarded or not but I've went through it two days in a row and havnt found any info on the suggested breakin.

Iv been driving it under 3k rpm for the first 500 miles but lately I've gone up to 4k rpm and I'm at 530 now...can anyone tell me what page number it's on lol (I feel like a knucklehead asking) I'm just worried about my baby.
    Peace Love Volkswagen
