    Question 81 Rabbit Truck Cannot open Tail Gate. HELP

    I have a 81 Rabbit Truck and Cannot open the Tail Gate (TG). If I pull on the release it will move a little but will not release the TG. The TG has a dent on the lower right, would this be causing the release not to work?

    Any ideas on a fix?

    I would suspect that is a correct statement as if one of the rods are binding then both would be.

    Post this to www.the152.com as there are a few caddy owners there.

    Replace all of them that you can, 99 percent of flakiness will disappear.
