Ya I've had this for about a year and a half and never used it lol. Just to lazy to order the new struts to lift the hatch.
I can however roll my windows down from inside my house when my car is in the driveway.

I tried the same thing, and all it did was lock my hatch. This was the coding that worked for me.

Re: Shaving an MKV rear hatch

I have some new updates that will go on here soon. I decided that with the summer in Buffalo almost over to hold off on my new wheels until next spring. I am going to go get all my body work done so I will be fully badgeless. I will have updates on removal of the emblem and any kind of tinkering that may go on it. stay tuned friends.

Alright for the hatch pop get the Sciricco kit from ECS. I did it the cheap way with the springs and my hatch will no longer pop fully open, halfway. I still like it a lot better then opening it manually.

Re: Shaving an MKV rear hatch

So the last few days ive been waiting on new updates from the guy doing my body work. unfortunatly he forgot to take pics of the rear hatch before painting. I should have the car back by thursday night. Check back for pics on Saturday when I have the Votex parts on as well.

Edit- I guess im waiting longer then Thursday, part of the car needs to be repainted because the painter didnt like this one spot. so no clue when ill get it back. but u will have photos as soon as i can

Atleast you are getting back with it repainted. Had the rabbit in for work after a accident and I just found some spots that are not right.
